David graduated from Whittier College and UC Berkeley Law School and has received extensive mediation training from four different nationally renowned mediation trainers. He has successfully mediated almost 800 divorces in more than 30 years. He began his career as a family law trial attorney and then expanded his services to include mediation. He now limits his practice to mediation and other non-litigated family law matters.

David is listed as a “Preeminent Attorney” by the Martindale-Hubbell Attorney Directory, its highest rating. From 1990 through 2014, he’s been listed in America’s Best Lawyers for Orange County Family Law and the Los Angeles Times publication, Super Lawyers of Orange County.

He served as a temporary Judge in the Orange County Family Law Court and has also been a Private Judge and Special Master since 1980. He’s a past President of the Orange County Bar Association, co-founded its Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, and received a Resolution of Thanks from the county Board of Supervisors for his efforts in establishing its Dispute Resolution Programs Act.
